My Journey to Miss International

For those of you who don't know me as well as some of my closest friends or family, you've probably have seen me celebrating the liberating lifestyle of a 23 year old once or twice before. What you don't know is that for the last few months I've been struggling with many personal issues even my sister can't understand. From the death of my mother, which I've only started to grieve last August to struggling with finances... I've slowly watched myself abdicate the goals and aspirations I have for myself with an unhealthy lifestyle filled with stress and disappointment. This has caused some of the dearest relationships of my life to hinder.

As I begin my journey toward Miss International, I am dedicated to becoming the once healthy and happy woman I am so used to knowing. I've started this blog to hold myself accountable, and to inspire other women to live positively. I'll be posting progress photos and other things I find motivating as often as I can.

I will be graduating the University of Buffalo this year, and starting a full-time career as an adult. These are positive things I'm looking forward to achieving while focusing on becoming the next Miss International on July 30th.
