Book Review: The Woman I Wanted to be

Sheryl Sandberg wrote the best review of this book stating, “Diane von Furstenberg’s story offers a behind-the-scenes look into the ups and downs of building a global business, creating an enduring brand, and finding true love.”

This New York Times Best Seller took me all but one afternoon to finish, as it was quite an easy read. The Woman I Wanted to be gave me a deeper insight into Diane’s iconic life as the daughter of a Holocaust survivor and a young jet-setting princess. From Diane’s love affairs, to her business failures, I’ve learned that there is much more depth to the wrap-dress than I originally thought.
